96% of people believe their child safety seats are installed correctly but as many as 7 out of 10 children are improperly restrained.* Britax has always been an industry leader in child-safety technology. In 2015, Britax introduced their revolutionary ClickTight technology to drastically change the way we install car seats. With their brand new innovative technique it is SO easy to get a perfectly safe install every time. There is no need to pull, yank or climb into the seat at all!
Britax introduced this ClickTight technology on three of their 2015 convertible seats; the Marathon, the Boulevard and the Advocate. The main features of these three seats are the same. The only difference is an increasing amount of side-impact protection. Even the entry-level Marathon has above average safety features including; impact-absorbing harnesses and safe-cell technology!
The most popular of the three seats is the Boulevard because it includes the stabilizing headrest but it does not have the added width that comes with the top-of-the-line Advocate’s side-impact cushions. All three seats have a 40 pound rear-facing weight capacity perfect for extended rear-facing! The forward-facing weight capacity is a whopping 65 pounds!
If you haven’t yet, check out our video demo to see how this seat really works. The entire bottom part of the seat opens up revealing a completely visible belt path. You simply follow the belt path, buckle the car’s lap/shoulder belt and then snap the seat closed… no really, that’s it! Of course these seats also feature a no-rethread “Quick-Adjust” harness.
I bought this seat for my son when he outgrew his infant seat. He has been in it for about a year now and we LOVE it! My four-year-old daughter still rides in it sometimes! We are a family that is constantly moving car seats around so this ClickTight technology has been a lifesaver!
The Britax ClickTight Convertible Car Seats are some of our best-sellers. If you have any questions about these products please email me at Lindsey@PishPoshBaby.com or leave a comment below! Remember… we’re moms, we get it!
