What are some of its cool features?

Bugaboo Donkey Price & Bugaboo Donkey Release Date Updates

When Bugaboo spilled the beans in September 2010 about the Donkey stroller moms everywhere were thrilled. But the secrecy on price, colors, date of launch were all very sketchy. Finally we have some concrete information on the long awaited bugaboo donkey stroller!

The new Bugaboo Donkey will be launched in Spring 2011 in the USA, UK, Netherlands and Spain.

in mono configuration: $1199

in duo configuration: $1499

in twin configuration: $1659 (No thats not a typo!) (Includes 2 bassinets)

The mono configuration can easily be converted to a duo configuration with the duo extension set: for $300.

colors and accessories

The Bugaboo Donkey is available in two base colors – black and sand. I’m really excited to hear that the base color is black!! The cameleon does not have a black base so thats a huge plus!

Fabric colors are 6 colors: red, pink, sand, off white, black, royal blue.

You can accessorise your Bugaboo Donkey with car seat adapters, cup holder, parasol, seat liner, footmuff, breezy sun canopy, wheeled board, organizer, and bugaboo bag. (in case the price of the stroller alone did not cost you enough!)

* The Bugaboo Donkey has been designed to meet two key parental needs: increased storage space and the option to convert from a mono to a side by side duo stroller for parents with two young children or twins.
* The greatly increased storage space – an expandable side luggage basket and under-seat basket – allows parents to carry all the goods they may need whilst on the go. The Bugaboo Donkey can be expanded and downsized again in only three clicks.
* In mono configuration the Bugaboo Donkey is 60 cm wide, which is the same width as the Bugaboo Cameleon. So if you plan on having a second child even if this is your first, go with the donkey over the cameleon! Its worth it!
* In duo configuration, with only 74 cm it’s the narrowest (luxury) side by side duo stroller.
