The race is close… these two stroller are two of the best double strollers out there!

Two of the best umbrella strollers around have been created by Uppababy…now which one do YOU need?

What a surprise it is to the entire Mom World for us to be welcoming a top design company into our planet of strollers. Fendi is partnering with Inglesina to create a stroller that we’ve never seen the likes of before. This luxury stroller is made with the combination of the Fendi signature look of cream, mahogany and brown, with the logo, and the Inglesina design – a unique and beautiful combination!
It will be released accompanied by a matching foot muff and baby carrier. No word yet on the weight or cost of this stroller, but from the looks of it, we can expect an umbrella fold, making it a good candidate for traveling.
We hope to be getting this stoller in shortly! Stay tuned for pre-order options and release dates: )
The AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) has just announced that bumpers in babys cribs should not be used. This policy is intended to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, or SIDS.
The pads are designed to wrap around the inside of a crib to prevent head injuries and limb entrapment in crib slats, but the academy’s new guidelines state there is no evidence they prevent such injuries. In fact, the guidelines state babies can actually suffocate in the pads.
Some moms really disagree with this ban. “It seems to be wrong to completely outlaw something based on allegations- without testing properly & investigating properly to prove that the allegations have grounds. It could be more dangerous to have hard wood railings close to a baby’s head and limbs.” Others think this ban should have been here sooner. Its a real controversal topic amongst moms.
The city of Chicago is the first city to have recently banned the sale of crib bumpers.
The pediatrics academy updates its official policies every five years to serve as a guide for pediatricians and other medical professionals across the country.
The group also recommends babies always sleep on a firm surface, not in car seats, or on wedges or other positioners and without pillows or blankets.
Bedding set manufacturers are adapting to the new regulation by offering 3 peice bedding sets of all their sets that exclude the bumper. Instead of the standard 4 peice sets that are usually sold. In addition we’ve seen some really creative ideas how to keep the fashion in bedding without a bumper. Skip Hop has introduced the patent pending complete sheet bumper free bedding. This “engineered” sheet offers bold graphics around the sides of the mattress with a contrasting pattern on top of the sheet. (Also included in the set an Airflow wearable blanket, linen crib skirt and a soft nursery blanket.)
Just released from Bugaboo’s press room comes real exciting news! Bugaboo has designed three new color fabrics in honor of the 2012 new year!
Known to have top quality and variety, Bugaboo’s team of designers have come up with three awesome new colors for the Bugaboo. And not only that – each Bugaboo stroller’s hood will be available in all three colors!
The first color is a Jade Green color. It comes in a sun canopy for the Bee and a sun canopy for the new Donkey. It’s also made in a full tailored fabric set (which includes the sun canopy and bassinet apron) for the Cameleon. This Jade Green is a soft emerald color which works great with both the black and sand base colors.
The second color is named Electric Blue (how cool?!) and it sure looks hot! Comparable to the color of lightning, this color will look sharp no matter what color base you have for it. I’m even considering this one for my little girl (a little cruel, I know, but I like it too much!). It comes for the Bee Sun Canopy, Donkey Sun Canopy and Cameleon Tailored Fabric Set.
And the last color is Coral Red (which is Jade Green’s complement, for all those of you who are artists:) This color is a soft red which leans towards pink just a bit. Buy your little girl a new Bee Canopy, Donkey Canopy, or Cameleon Tailored Fabric Set this year.
Leave it up to Bugaboo to keep the same great style and simplicity, yet keep adding funkiness and excitement into a Bugaboo Mom’s life.

Boy did we just got a surge of excitement when a massive shipment from Uppababy arrived at our warehouse. The best-selling Uppababy Vista Mica Special Edition is back in stock and quantities are very limited. The Uppababy Vista takes first place for the best-selling, most popular stroller of 2011. You wouldn’t believe the number we’ve sold just in the last month or so. Two of our Mom Reps here actually have one themselves, and they are thrilled with it. It’s an all-exclusive, full-featured standard stroller with anything you’d need. It comes with all the necessary accessories, such as a belly bar, a bassinet and a raincover. Plus there are some super accessories which most people end up throwing in, because they are too good to leave out.
All regular Vista’s have a shiny, silver frame, but the Uppababy Vista Mica Limited Edition has this sleek black graphite frame. The contrast is gorgeous between the silver fabric and dark chassis. Otherwise, all features and aspects are the same as the regular editions.
I wouldn’t suggest you wait too long for this one, because it’ll be gone as soon as the New Year hits. And it’s gong for a great price now…
We just got back from the huge Maclaren Show here in Manhattan and boy was it exciting! We saw the full Maclaren line of strollers and met all the wonderful reps who were taking us around and showing off their great line.
But the most exciting part was to see their newest line of strollers to finally reach our shores from Europe. The Maclaren Globetrotter stroller is very similar to the popular Maclaren Volo, but this one reclines:)
The Globe Trotter is the all purpose, lightweight go fast buggy. It’s suitable from 6mths to around 30 lbs. The 5-point safety buckle and adjustable shoulder harness make the trip really safe. The seat can be reclined in multiple positions with a one hand fold, and it’s washable too. The swivel wheels make it really easy to maneuver, and the carry strap for easy portability. It’ll be available in five colors!
Like all Maclaren strollers, this one comes with a raincover and a lifetime warranty.
