The UPPAbaby Mesa infant car seat sets a new standard in the world of car seats. UPPAbaby has implemented a new SMARTSECURE™ system. This unique technology uses tightness indicators and self-retracting LATCH connectors. This makes it easier to install accurately.
It also has SIP (side impact protection) combined with an auto adjust, 5 point, no re-thread harness that makes this seat optimized for preemies (minimum weight of 4 lbs). It’s got a “one-push stroller release” on the carry handle that make it easy to transfer from stroller to car seat really easy.
To add to the safety features, the Mesa also has a SPF 50+ hideaway canopy. That means that you can have it open when you want, and when you don’t, it tucks away. Along with that, they have special pockets for the buckle to keep them cooled even if left in the sun.
And as expected, the Mesa is compatible with both the UPPAbaby Vista and Cruz without needing to buy a car seat adapter.
