Exciting new from Baby Jogger just in time for the new year! Baby Jogger will be releasing their all-new Baby Jogger City GO Infant Car Seat 2014 this year, along with their upgraded Vue Lite Travel System! For the very first time, Baby Jogger is launching a complete travel system that includes the Vue Lite umbrella stroller, City GO infant car seat, car seat base, and adapters, so you have everything you need for your baby to grow from infant to toddler. The Vue Lite travel system is an incredibly portable, convenient and safe travel system designed with the ease of use and safety that first time parents are looking for.

The Vue Lite stroller was created to build on the success of the original Vue® reversible umbrella stroller. The revolutionary reversible umbrella stroller seat can reverse so baby can face the parent or face the world. Studies show there can be significant benefits for young babies to face their parent while strolling as it can create a deeper bond between parent and child. The Vue Lite’s lightweight, compact size offers parents the convenience of going anywhere from city strolling to traveling. And since it has a weight capacity of 55lbs, your baby can keep strolling from birth well into the preschool years. The Vue Lite travel system marks the debut of the City GO infant car seat.baby-jogger-vue-lite-stroller-cherry-8

Baby Jogger partnered in development of the City GO with a leading car seat manufacturer with over 10 years of experience and millions of units sold. The City GO has been tested to meet or exceed all US safety standards. Additionally, the City GO has a 5-pt safety harness, an extra-large 3-panel UV 50+ sun canopy, a ClickSafeTM base for easy, secure LATCH installation and a TaxiSafeTM belt path, which allows you to safely use the infant car seat without the base while traveling. The travel system comes complete with the Vue Lite stroller, the City GO car seat, base, and a car seat adapter. Additional accessories such as parent console, cup holder, weather shield, carry bag, and soft pram can be purchased separately to customize the strolling experience. The Vue Lite stroller can be used from newborn – 55 lbs. and is not intended for running.

The City Go weighs just 8.5 lbs and will hold 4-35 lbs, which is a great weight capacity. It will retail for just $159.99

The Vue Lite will be offered in several color fashions – shadow, cherry, and aqua – and will be available soon. We can’t wait to update you on pricing and availability as soon as we know more! Don’t forget to sign up to be notified!

  1. Hello,

I’m wondering when the Baby Jogger City Go Car Seat will be available in Canada?

Do you have any reviews on the car seat vs. the Britax B-safe or B-safe 35?

I’m not sure which one to look at. I’m leaning towards the Baby Jogger City Select for my stroller.

Any help and advise you can provide is greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Shelby

  2. Hi Shelby, As of now, Baby Jogger has decided not to sell the City Go separately and so we have not begun carrying it yet. As soon as it is released separately, we’ll test it out in our showroom and compare it to all the seats. I suggest walking into Target or Buy Buy Baby, both of which sell the seat, to compare it. Best of luck!

  3. Hi any release date for the car seat in Canada yet?

  4. Hi Bri – you’ll have to check with your local retailer on that.

  5. Any idea why they quit selling this already? Target says it has been discontinued. If would be awesome if y’all were selling it!

  6. Would I be able to purchase the straps and buckles that go in the car seat

  7. Hi Jenny – replacement parts can be purchased directly through Baby Jogger. You can reach them at 1-800-241-1848

  8. Is the baby jogger (baby blue one for two babies or just one?)

  9. Hi Irene – I am confused what stroller you are referring to?
