So many of you have noticed that Britax has a few select car seats that have an ARB option. These car seats are exactly the same as their original car seat but they have the letters ARB in front of it.

What it stands for?

ARB stands for Anti-Rebound Bar. Britax is giving parents the option of buying their convertible car seat with an extra safety feature, the anti-rebound bar. TheAnti-Rebound Bar minimizes forces associated with crashes by stabilizing the car seat when installed rear-facing.

You’ll be happy to know that Britax is offering some of their most popular click tight car seats with an ARB option.

Are there any other differences?

The short answer is no! The Marathon Clicktight is the same as the Marathon ARB, the only difference is the rebound bar. This means parents can purchase their beloved Marathon, Advocate, and Boulevard just with one extra safety feature!

Price

The ARB versions are a little more expensive than the original versions of these car seats. The Marathon Clicktight retails for $299.99, the Marathon ClickTight ARB retails for $319.99. The Britax Advocate ClickTight retails for $344.99 while the Britax Advocate ARB retails for $319.99. The Britax Boulevard Clicktight retails for $324.99 and the Boulevard Cliktight ARB retails for $364.99.
