Britax Emblem vs Britax Allegiance – How do they compare?

Battle of the Britax’s! The Britax Emblem and Allegiance are both popular convertible car seats from Britax. At first glance, both of these car seats are really similar but they do have a few key differences that set them apart.

Key Differences

While they are both very safe due to their Safecell protection the Emblem has the Allegiance beat by an inch! The Emblem has 2 layers of Side Impact Protection which means the baby’s head and neck are secured by a foam-lined shell and quick-adjust head protection. The Allegiance also has 2 layers of SIP but is only secured by a foam-lined shell.

The Allegiance does have more padding on the side and on the headrest

One more obvious difference between these two car seats are the color options! The Emblem is available in the Fusion and Baxter color. The Allegiance is available in the Azul, Static, Confetti, and Luna color.
