Mountain Buggy Nano Travel Stroller – Full review

Mountain Buggy NanoThis has got to be the most compact stroller we’ve ever seen! A Mountain Buggy representitive came down to our showroom last week to introduce the all-new Mountain Nano stroller, and boy did the Mom Reps go wild!

We’ve seen a lot of strollers, but we’ve never seen one as easy to travel with as the Nano. The Nano weighs in at 13 lbs – which is similar to the weight of classic umbrella strollers, but get this – it’s car seat compatible!

First let’s talk about the fold. The Nano folds with the push of 2 buttons, in 2 steps. The Fold is insanely compact and is self-standing. Unfolding the Nano is even easier with just one hand.

Equipped with an on-board car seat adaptor, the Nano converts to a travel system, accommodating most leading car seat brands including Mountain Buggy protect. Travel easy with your newborn baby in their car seat and nano.

What other great features are on the Mountain Buggy Nano? This travel stroller features inbuilt rear wheel suspension, absorbing bumps on the road and keeping your baby comfortable on their travel adventure. An easy push pedal brake with color definition shows when you’re safely parked or ready to roll.

Most small strollers don’t have a great push, but the Nano changes that! The 6″ EVA wheels provide a smooth ride, offering less ‘chatter’ than other travel strollers with inferior wheels. The 2 front wheels are lockable as well.

The Nano seat can hold a child up to 4 years (!) old and has 2 recline positions. An adjustable leg rest, padded safety harness, and a flip out sun visor are just some more useful features.

And last but not least, the Nano boasts the power of kerb pop! Cleverly engineered with perfect weight distribution for optimised performance, nano’s ultra lightweight handling allows you to ‘pop’ the front wheels up for kerb hopping on your travels.

  1. This sounds like an amazing stroller for traveling – any idea of when it will be coming out?

  2. I am looking for a travel stroller for plane and Disney world I my grandson is 3 around 40lbs. I need a car seat that can go from seat to stroller that is approved by FDA for travel please help asap.

  3. Would the cybex aton q or nuna pipa fit into this stroller? Thanks!

  4. Hi Alicia:) We, nor Mountain Buggy, nor Nuna, nor Cybex have checked compatibility. As soon as our new showroom opens, we will test it out and let you know.

  5. Any word on the compatibility with various car seats? I’m likely getting the Chicco Nextfit and would LOVE to know if it’ll actually work with this Nano before put the two on my registry as my travel system! Thank you!

  6. Hi Samara – the Chicco Nextfit is a convertible car seat and convertible car seats are not compatible with strollers – only infant seats are. Currently the only seats compatible with the Nano are the maxi cosi infant car seats.

  7. I think that the babyzen yoyo is better !
