So how do you remove the Nuna Pipa from the Maxi Taxi?

You need to press both buttons on each side of the seat the same time and pull. In order to get it off, the seat needs to be installed properly-when putting the seat on the taxi- make sure you hear the clicks on each side.

I just bought the maxi taxi to go with the Nuna Pipa and it’s completely stuck! When you say to press both buttons, do you mean the buttons used to pull the pipa handle back and forth? Or is there some other button I’m missing?

I’m so glad we were able to help:) We do note on our site that it is a bit difficult to remove the Pipa from the Maxi Taxi – do you feel like you will get the hang of it in due time or would you not recommend the combination?

i would not recommend the maxi taxi with the nun pipa. it really sticks and I would not do unless you are ok rocking and pulling the entire stroller back and forth to get the nuna seat off

As we’ve noted multiple times, the Nuna and Cybex car seats are not designed to fit the Maxi Taxi, however they do fit but will take a bit more effort to remove. Give our customer service team a call this morning and they should be able to help you out.

is there a snap and go base that works easily with the nuna pipa car seat? I’ve tried it with the maxi taxi and it is way too hard to snap the seat in and out of the base. Thanks in advance!

Hi Adeena – right now there is no super simple solution for the Nuna Pipa. However, we recommend taking a look at the Nuna Tavo, Nuna’s lightweight all-around stroller.
